This simmer pot is a gentle blend of soft florals and light fruit. Nothing sharp or overpowering.
The rose berry scent is one I turn to when I want a delicate floral scent to fill our home. This is the perfect Valentine’s Day simmer pot or for anytime you are feeling a little on the romantic side.
It’s subtle and warm, giving a feminine touch without being fussy.
Why I Love this Simmer Pot
Rose can sometimes feel overwhelming, but when paired with strawberry, it becomes something softer and more approachable. This simmer pot recipe feels like a reminder to treat ourselves and our homes gently.

I love this simmer pot during late winter and early spring, or on quiet afternoons when everyone needs a little extra grace.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rose Petals (I like to toss in a little extra)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp strawberry extract OR 1/2 cup sliced fresh, frozen, or dried strawberries

Rose Berry Simmer Pot Instructions:
STEP ONE: Add Ingredients
Place all ingredients into a small-medium pot and cover with water.
STEP TWO: Simmer
Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat. As the water warms, the steam will carry the scent through your home.
STEP THREE: Refill
Keep the heat low and check the pot occasionally, adding more water as needed. I often let this simmer for several hours while I’m home. Just don’t forget to turn it off if you are leaving the house.
You can reuse the same ingredients for a day or two before composting them.

Simmer Pot Ingredient Options
This recipe works beautifully with either fresh or dried ingredients. Use whichever you have on hand. You can dehydrate rose petals and strawberries for later use, add them to a bag as a gift, or sell them. You can also use a vanilla bean instead of vanilla extract for easy storage. Store dehydrated ingredients in a jar or a sealable bag for later.
