Cracker Toffee


  • 24 Saltine Crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sea Salt (optional)
  • Caramel Syrup (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)


  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and spray it with a light coat of cooking oil. 
  • Lay the saltine crackers out to cover the sheet.
  • Cook the brown sugar and butter over medium heat until boiling. Stir constantly to avoid scorching.
  • Remove the butter and sugar from heat and pour the mixture evenly over the crackers.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the warm cracker toffee.
  • Allow the chocolate chips to soften and then spread them out across the crackers.
  • Add a little sea salt and some sprinkles on top of the toffee.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top and wait for the chocolate to solidify.
  • Break the cracker toffee into pieces and store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!!
